Hitkarini Sabha is the pioneer of the hostel concept in Jabalpur region. It established the first hostel at Marhatal, Civic Center, Jabalpur in the year 1956. The foundation stone for this hostel was laid by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru First Prime Minister of India in the year  1956 and the hostel was inaugurated in the year 1956 by Mr Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru.  This hostel has provided accomodation to some of the future leaders of the state including present Finance Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Jayant Malaiya, former Member of Parliament Shri Rameshwar Nikhra, Harban Singh Minister of M.P.  The said hostel has recently been renovated and is capable of providing accommodation to about 100-120 persons.

Sabha has also created new hostel accommodation for girls only at Marhatal, Civic Center, Jabalpur in the year 2008 with assistance from the UGC. The hostel has 50 rooms with attached toilets and baths and can accommodate upto 150 persons. It is also equipped with a mess. Though the hostel is situated at 2nd floor , but being in the heart of the city and in a safe area , it is popular amongst girls students especially from the nursing field.

At the Dumna Airport Road campus of Hitkarini Sabha, there are two hostels available for students studying in the colleges of that campus only. The old hostel, constructed in the year 2005 has 72 rooms and can accommodate 150-180 students. All rooms have attached toilet and bath facility along with roof top solar water heating system. The new hostel has bigger and better finished rooms and this new hostel has been completed in the year 2015. It has 34 rooms – all with attached toilet and bath. It also accommodate Post Graduate students and has some larger rooms with small attached pantry and a suite like rooms setting. There is separate mess available at the campus which provides delicious meals to the students.

In all the hostels a student committee is created to check and approve security, house keeping and mess operations on monthly basis.
