In the session 2009-2010, the college of Architecture and Town Planning was established. The offered degree is B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) of 5 years degree recognized by the All India Center of Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.) New Delhi and Council of Architecture (C.O.A) and affiliated to R.G.P.V. Bhopal. Every year 40 students are enrolled in this course.

Hitkarini College of Architecture and Town Planning is the only college in the Mahakoushal region to organize the pre-admission exam NATA for this architecture course. In the last session 2014-15, approx. 265 students appeared for NATA exam at this center and out of these 98 students cleared the exam. And most of them took admission in this same college for the 5 years course.

In 2012, the college successfully organized the Zonal Convention of NASA. More than 1000 students from 30 different Architecture colleges participated in the event.

The first batch of the college passed in 2014 and is serving in the different provinces and institutions. Some students are running their own institution. This five year course have already had 30 students in the top ten merit list so far (proficiency list) have in place, while some students Arjak Mishra, Nivedita Saikiya, Vikram Kohli, Kanishka Mishra and Jaishree Mishra have received the Chancellor’s Award.
